A Rose Clinic melanographer will be able to attend your place of work and perform on-site mole checks through the means of digital dermoscopy. Dermoscopy is a non-invasive tool for melanoma diagnosis.
This method is based on microscopy of the skin’s surface, a x20 magnified view of the lesion, allowing for better visualisation of the internal structures of a lesions.
This has been shown to be a reliable and sensitive method for detecting early-stage skin cancer by identifying characteristics that may potentially be an indicator for skin cancer that have yeat ot become visible to the natural eye.
After your appointment, your digital imaging will be reviewed by our team of doctors with the assistance of AI technology. You will be contact by our medical team by phone or email within 2 weeks from your inital appointment with your outcome and any further recommendations.
We can check up to three (3) lesions of concern per person and can sess up to 20 individuals per day. All we require is a well-let room, and a secure WiFi connection.
For those wishing for a complete assessment of their skin, we are happy to offer these individuals an appointment in any of our clinic location to avail of full body digital imaging at a reduced rate.
As we are aware that peoples skin concerns may be considered more cosmetic, we can also offer a Skin Health Assessment. Using the Observ 520x, the latest in facial skin scanning technoloy, our melanographers can identify any sun, environmental or textural damage that may not be visible yet on the outer layers of the skin. With this, we will educate you on how to prevent, protect, and improve you skin health and repair the skin barrier.
