How it works?

Our patients can rest assured of getting the most comprehensive service available. Using AI screening technology and in partnership with independent associates nationwide, we make sure no stone is left unturned in keeping you safe and your mind at ease.

Choose your service

Our clinics offer two types of appointments – a mole check or a full body scan. A mole check lets you have up to 5 individual moles or lesions examined. This is best suited to those looking for reassurance about any specific moles or new lesions that may have appeared. A full body screening is a more comprehensive screening where we scan your entire body to create a digital record of all of the moles or lesions you have. Both appointments will be carried out by our melanographers and your moles will be reviewed by our doctors with the assistance of AI technology and 3D imaging.

Preparing for your appointment

To ensure the best screening, we recommend you avoid wearing makeup, fake tan and nail varnish. Tying your hair back will help to keep your face and neck clearly visible. We also suggest you trim any body hair around lesions, just so we can get the best view possible.

Skin imaging

When you get here, you’ll be welcomed by our front of house team. After that, you’ll meet one of our melanographers who will check your skin from head to toe talk you through the process and guide you through a series of poses and take full-body images. Using digital dermoscopy, we’ll capture close-up images of any lesions that seem unusual or stand out from others around them. Your comfort is our priority so don’t hesitate to ask any questions you may have along the way.

Review

Your imaging will be reviewed by our doctor-led medical team. In some instances, your case may be presented at our multidisciplinary meeting to ensure the best recommendation is made for you.

Outcome

We will contact you by phone or email within 2 weeks from your initial appointment with your outcome. This will be a chance to discuss any further recommendations we may have and for you to ask any questions you have for us.

Return

We recommend you come back once a year for mole screenings to detect new moles or changes in existing lesions early. In some cases, our medical team may suggest repeat imaging at 3 to 6 months, but we’ll also teach you how to self-check your skin and how to identify changing moles. If you notice changes between visits, contact us and we’ll arrange a follow-up and check any areas of concern.
