Prof. Paul Redmond
Rose Clinic CEO
Professor H. Paul Redmond is Professor and Chairman of the Department of Surgery at Cork University Hospital Group. His special interest is in surgical oncology. Over the years Professor Redmond’s passion has increasingly focused on cancer awareness, screening and prevention. In line with this concept, he has developed Rose Clinic with a team of experienced practitioners with the focus on Skin Health and Mole Mapping, implementing an Artificial Intelligence screening program.
Mairead Cheevers

Mairead, alongside Prof. Paul Redmond, assisted in the creation of Rose Clinic in 2021. With years of experience in the Aesthetics Industry, both as an aesthetic therapist, educator, and business consultant, Mairead has a true passion for skin health and feels the link between medical and aesthetic practices is essential to give the overall unlimited experience to patients and their care.
Dr Shane Redmond
Medical Director
Having spent the last 7 years in Australia gaining extensive experience in plastic surgery, Shane has come on board as Medical Director of Rose Clinic. Along with an interest in aesthetic therapies, he is passionate about improving early detection rates and treatment of skin cancer along with optimizing patient care pathways to provide innovative, attentive, and efficient service.
Holly Coughlan
Business Manager
With 15 years of management experience in the health and wellness industry, Holly joined the Rose Clinic team last summer, and looks after the day to day running of our clinics. Holly believes in Rose Clinic’s mission of early detection and prevention of skin cancer, and looks forward to contributing to the development of Rose Clinic as we continue forward.

Dr Fara Hassan
Doctor
Dr Fara Hassan graduated with her medical degree from Punjab University, Pakistan followed by enrolment in a surgery training programme in Pakistan and completed General Surgery training in Pakistan and Ireland with FCPS degree awarded in 2017 and MRCSI degree in 2015. With interest in skin cancer and especially skin cancer awareness through regular skin lesions monitoring through technology of Digital mole screening and Dermoscopy to detect different types of melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancer at early stage and prevent unnecessary excisions.
Dr Hugo Santos

Dr. Hugo Santos completed his studies in Medicine at the European University of Madrid. He gained experience in Neurosurgery before moving to Ireland. In Ireland he gained several years of experience in Trauma and Orthopedic Surgery. He completed Advanced Aesthetic Medicine courses at ECAMS (European Collage of Aesthetic Medicine and Surgery) After obtaining the Diploma in Dermatology from RCPI he developed an interest in Skin Cancer and how to help patients with early detection and effective treatment.

Jessica trained in General Nursing in UCC and worked in medical and surgical before moving to Canada. She then moved back to Ireland and worked with the Covid19 management programme. Jessica is always conscious of skin care and high rates of skin cancer in Ireland was very eager to specialise in this field.
Mitzi Hayes, RGN

Mitxi finished training in General Nursing in 2013 and has worked in surgical clinics, intensive care and clinical research. Patient centred care has always been a priority for Mitzi and she uses these skills during mole screenings to try to put patients at ease and provide education throughout their appointment.

Stephanie Sage Egan, RGN

Following graduating as an RGN from the University of Limerick, Stephanie has gained experience working as a registered nurse in various specialties including A&E and ICU, working in Ireland, England, and Australia. It was during her time spent living in Australia that Stephanie developed a passion for skin health.
Jennifer Cassin, RGN
Rose Clinic Waterford & Carlow
Jennifer has been a RGN for almost 5 years. She got my degree in Waterford Institute of Technology and worked as a medical/covid nurse for 2 years with the HSE. She then worked for UPMC Aut Even as a surgical nurse for 2 years. Jennifer lived in Australia for a year and also worked as a nurse over there, where she developed a keen interest in the skin.
Niamh Carney, RGN

With a background as a general trained nurse from Beaumont Hospital, Dublin and a graduate of the University of Ulster, Niamh has lots of experience gained in settings in London, and across Ireland. Niamh has spent the last few years working in all major Dublin Hospitals including covering all specialties, including ED, acute medicine and general surgery. She has a keen interest in preventative care.
Rhona Harte, RGN

Rhona graduated from St Angela’s College, Sligo in Nov '23 and trained in Sligo University Hospital. She gained experience as a registered nurse in a respiratory/medical ward. Rhona has always had an interest in working with skin as it is something she am passionate about from her own personal experience with getting moles checked and removed.
